Cortisone and breastfeeding?

Thread Starter

I had some knee pain last year and my doctor put me on ibuprofen and gave me a cortisol injection. It's starting to act up again and I was thinking of going to get another injection, but I can't seem to find much info on cortisol injections and breastfeeding. Does anybody have any info on the safety or alternative treatments for joint pain? BTW, DD is 12 weeks old.

I just had a similar type injection in spine area, low back. They had to put me on a sedative during the procedure so I couldn't nurse for the rest of the day. I would ask your doc. You will probably be able to get it.
