I just started the SCD diet about a week ago. I had already been on a gluten, dairy, egg, and soy free diet for a while and then had been doing grain free for a few weeks prior to starting the SCD. I went off my grain free diet for a few days due to a craving for blackberry cobbler and my hubby's birthday, man that was a mistake! My constipation came back full force, I got a ulcer in my mouth, and the worst stomach cramps ever! I dealt with the cramping for about a week before starting the SCD diet. I did great with the intro diet...no cramps at all as long as I stuck with chicken and carrot soup, grape jello, and hot tea. After several days of that I tried homemade applesauce and that went well. I tried homemade pear-sauce two days in a row and each time I had horrible stomach cramps again. Next day I was fine so I tried cooked zucchini "noodles" and that gave me stomach cramps.

I guess my question is, is this normal? If so when does the stomach cramping finally ease off when introducing new foods?

I'm very committed to this diet but I just feel hungry and tired all the time, I feel like my body needs more than just chicken carrot soup and applesauce. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
