what do u suggest you need

i want to ge a head start this time on preparing my self, so what items do you women love that helps with breast feeding that you cant live with out. last time i tried with just a pump and my son and didnt have anything prepared before hand so i think thats while it failed. so would love to know what you use and suggest for me to get.

The things I found useful were

- my endlessly supportive husband (the only essential on my list)

- my "milkbar" twin feeding pillow (I didn't have twins but the wrap-around pillow was great

- hydrogel breast pads for the early days when my nipples  were so damaged they stuck to anything else that touched them

- access to two good lactation consultants
