Years ago my parents bought me a 20yo Maytag Washer/Dryer set. They were AWESOME. When the dryer barrel went all wonky, DH bought me a used dryer - he went ahead and replaced the washer too. That was 2 years ago and we've been through 2 washers since then - they're AWFUL. So...I'm in the market for a new washing machine. I would prefer to buy a used one, but DH is through messing around with those so I can really get either if I find a good used one with a good reputation. What do you have that you LOVE? My current washer (that we bought from a dealer of used machines... is the worst washer I've ever had. NOTHING comes out clean...and after every load there is grime in the bottom of the machine. We are a farming/ranching family and our clothes get dirty and I need them to come clean when I wash them!)Â
