We are SO stuck on Baby #3! I am 20 weeks. We named our other two before they were even conceived and this one is geting us frustrated! Our son's name is Praetorian Stone and our daughter is Zion Merciful. So something very unique and meangful would be great. HELP!!!! :)

I love the meaning behind the name Zion Merciful, very beautiful.  I have pregnancy brain and don't really have any good suggestions though sorry

What kind of meaning are you looking for?  Strength, creativity, beauty, compassion... do you have a feel for the kind of meaning you're looking for?

Not sure! That's how stuck we are. Probably more virtuous meanings, though..

I wanted to name our son Archer but I was too worried he'd end up being called Archie, which I'm not particularly fond of!

Eek! You're right!

Archer was on my initial list (got the husband veto)...I think Arch is a killer nn.

Honor, Lochlan, and Falcon are names I have heard a few times.

What about Ophiuchus? http://www.topastronomer.com/StarCharts/Constellations/Ophiuchus.php

My first thought when hearing Falcon is the poor kiddo caught up in the baloon boy hoax.  Love your other names.

So after going over my list with DH, here is what is left:
Grandison (middle)
Enoch
Asa

Hmmm cool idea but I don't care for the sound.

Hah I have no idea what you are talking about but DH didn't like it anyway.

I LOVE Noble Grandison!!

Here are some other suggestions:

Cornelius

Achilles

Apollo

Bodhi

Horus

Jupiter

Thor

Zephyr

Asher

Orion

Skye

River

We are at a loss this time, too! I love Orion but it sounds silly with our last name. We are going back and forth between Asher and Reilly... leaning towards Reilly because our other boys also have Irish names. Good luck!

I have a Malachi Easton.

I know a new baby named Odin. That would sound good with Grandison.

Love love LOVE Odin!

How about the Greek term Kairos? It fits well with your baby's siblings, and the meaning is lovely--"opportune moment", or in Theological circles: "appointed time in the purpose of God"  Kairos Grandison...

I like Lochlan, although I prefer the more common spelling, Lachlan. DH vetoed it, though. :p We ended up calling our baby Miles, if that appeals at all?

Some of our other options, in case you like 'em:

Brock

Heath

Firth

Llewellyn

Leander

Mason

Keats

Rhys

Owen

Warren

Morris

Colm

Connor

Callum

Cowan

Lyndon

Fynn

Finian

Good luck - finding a not-mind-numbingly-common-but-not-totally-out-there-and-sounding-like-a-brand-of-motorbike boy's name is HARD. Girls' names are way easier, I think.

Haha I just posted a name help question in my DDC I am 19 weeks and we just don't know! I am going to keep checking this thread...we have slightly different taste but some of them sound really appealing too...

Ioulas (Ee-oh-laus) and Perseus are two of my non-common favorites..both from Greek mythology.
