Our dentist doesn't like to pull teeth, which I'm glad for. But he just told us that he thinks ds (almost 7) would be a good candidate for dental expanders since his mouth is so small and he has permanent teeth coming with no where to fit. I've found a lot that discusses the top/upper expanders and I think I'm ok with that, but what about the expanders for the lower jaw? How do they work? Are they successful? I'd love to hear anything you know upper or lower!
