Anyone come across a secular unit study guide for Little House on the Prairie?

Because I am quite idle and would rather not make my own ;-)

Seriously, I'd like something based around LHOTP but a. secular and b. modern. I'd like something that could point us towards, say, the perspective of the native americans who were the ones screwed over by Laura's family, something about the role of women back in the day, and so forth.

The Prairie Primer is not, I don't think, going to work for us, and I can't find anything on the internet that isn't a. aimed at younger kids (and girls) and b. christian, or at least very uncritical of the times and language used.

This is for ds who is nearly 8 and adores LHOTP.

I accept that I am probably going to end up making my own...any ideas welcome?
