I've tried a few and they usually end up being tough...maybe it is just me. And some i've gotten from blogs said 3 cups flour and needed five! (i.e. mistakes in amounts) anyone have a favoirte to make with their kids? And what kind of song/verse type thing could you do with a 17/18 mo while making bread?

I'm crazy about the no knead bread recipe! I live in the Eu though, here we use grams as measurement, not cups.

500grams whote wheat flour (or something else of your choosing)

teaspoon yeast

half a teaspoon salt

350ml water

Mix it, knead it a little (not neccesairy) and let it rise the whole night. At morning knead it into the preferable way, let it rise for half an hour, bake as usual. (I go for 45mins 200celsius).

sounds good, i will try it.I'd also love other recipes not requiring a double rise. I am usually not that organized...what kinds do they make in the preschools with the kiddies?
