ISO Therapist recs for myself in Chicago

Hi, 

I'm just looking for therapist/psychologist for myself in the city or within reach of public transportation.  Talk therapy, not really interested in meds.

Also, needs to take medicaid.  We are both unemployed and flat broke right now.
I can get a list of people from the IL HealthConnect website, but it doesn't TELL me anything but names and phone numbers.

 I'd like to hear about someone you found very helpful and loved!

Mara Tesler Stein is fabulous, but probably doesn't take medicaid. BUT she's a great resource and very friendly, you could call her and ask if she knows anyone who she could refer you to.
