Anyone know anything about Woodward, OK?

My husband and I will be spending about 2 months in Woodward for his work. We don't have any kids, and I won't be working. I'm wondering if there's anything fun to do around there by myself, or things dh and I could do on the weekend. Is there a library or bookstore? Also, we're not sure about living arrangements yet, but if we end up someplace where I can cook (hopefully so!) are there any farmers' markets or local produce places? I've never in my life lived someplace so small, so I'm nervous about being bored, especially not working. Any information appreciated!

Hi, not from the Woodward area, but as far as towns go in OK, it's actually pretty good sized! That's probably scary to you, but I think it's the biggest town in that part of the state. I am sure they have a library. The weather has been absolutely awful here--major drought and the hottest avg temps on record--so I wouldn't put too much hope in a farmers market this year.

I'm actually in Woodward now, and have visited the library. :) And yeah, Wikipedia told me this was the biggest place for miles. I'm from Houston, so I'm familiar with the whole heat dome/drought thing, though Woodward has actually gotten some rain and some (slightly) lower temperatures since I've been here. There is a tiny little farmers-market thing I haven't visited yet, and a health food store I have visited. I got some organic frozen dinners and some Greek yogurt there. It was, expectedly, somewhat pricey. The owner seemed horrified that all I had at my disposal for cooking was a microwave. :)
