Let's all share the deals we're finding on groceries this week, what you are getting (or got) and where you shopped.

I'm heading out for our grocery shopping in a bit, then I'll post our results.

Our grocery store didnt have many deals this week. I did have a coupon for $1.00 off ww pasta and they were on sale 2 for $3.00 so I got them for $1.00 a box. what they did have in the flyer they didnt actually have in storeirked.gif

I shopped a lot on the produce discount rack

big bag of cherries 1.99

2 small cantelopes 1.49

2 big bags of apples .99 each

huge bag of organic bananas 1.49

5 bell peppers 1.49

bunch of organic rapini .79

container of organic salad greens .99

No great sales here, either. Kind of weird, actually. I can usually find SOME kind of meat deal that is buy one get two or else just a good ole fashioned sale that puts it around $1.99/lb. No such luck this week. Steered clear of produce, as we have a farm share. Nothing to write home about this week, unfortunately.

We went to Price Chopper and Wegman's. I'd planned to go to Tops too, but decided to save it for another day.

Price Chopper- Original total: $100.88. Spent $50.51.

Some of the good deals here were:

Koala Crispy bars $1.99 instead of $3.99

Almond Milk on sale for $3.39 instead of 3.99, store coupon for $1 and man. coupon for .55, making it $1.89

Dole salad BOGO

Raisin Bran: Reg. 3.99, on sale for 2.50. Used 2 $1/2 coupons and got 4/$8. Used store coupon for free juice with purchase and got juice.

Wegman's Originally $20, spent $6.98.

This one was great because the kids each had a $3/Produce coupon that they got at the park. I used a $1.49/1 coupon on coffee and also got a pack of soda for 3.33 (it's bad, but I work overnights).

So far, we've only spent $57.49 of our $150 grocery budget :)
