natural rx for eczema

Hello all,

Being a holistic sort, I know that eczema can be connected to allergies, as well as an autoimmune condition, ramps up with stress etc.  I have tried to explain this to my DP, who lives on stress, eats whatever he wants, etc..  My question is this:  even the 'scrip cream he has does not relieve the itching lately.  I made him hold an ice pack on it last night and he did so {grudgingly} until he said, "oh that actually does feel better."  SO now I have a little window to try some other natural cures as I nudge him toward some rest and a better diet.  whistling.gif

I have some olive oil that I have infused all day with marigold and comfrey..  plan to cool and thicken that for him.  Also thinking soak in tepid epsom salt bath and another ice pack.  i also have some neem leaf powder {just the ground dried leaf}, thought I'd give that a whirl.  Someone tells me 'Noxema' works well too..

Suggestions?  He is a work in progress as far as embracing the whole-health life.  In the meantime I want to give my stubborn love some relief topically.

Thanks!

This is not topical, but I have heard of people with eczema switching to drinking raw milk and it going away.  You may  be able to make the switch without him even noticing.  DH did not notice when I poured him a glass of raw goats milk, nor did he notice when it was on his cereal, even when he knew it was in the house.  He is not a very observant person and does not take the time to taste anything lol, just sucks it down:)
