foot rests for kitchen chairs

Hi there! I have a little guy with some food sensory issues and we have read that having foot support at the kitchen table really helps! I would love to get one of those kinderseats -- but they are just too much $!

Does anyone know of a cheaper brand? Or something like this for the kitchen chair?

Thanks! I appreciate any leads you can give me! For now we have a plastic crate tied to the base of his chair -- and it does the job but looks awful! lol

What about a step stool chair like this?

Euro II Grow with me chair ($89)

Keekaroo sells one that's more expensive ($160)

What about used? I did a quick search on my local Craigslist and found one Stokke Tripp Trapp chair for $50. Resale shops might have them too, as they're pretty high end and I would think parents wouldn't just give them away.
