Mystery Shopper?

I'm looking into work I can do from home once my munchkin is born in the fall. I used to work at a grocery store when I was younger and we had secret or mystery shoppers who came in quite often.  I was hoping I could get involved with this but I am unsure where to start/go.  Does anyone know how to get started with these companies?  I live in PA if that makes any difference to which companies I would be able to work with.

Any help is appreciated or any other suggestions for other WAHM jobs would be awesome too.

I do some mystery shopping.  Just a note, it's not really something you can do with kids with you.  Sometimes you can, but many companies frown on bringing kids with your on shops or outright prohibit it on shops.

You also really need to live near lots of shopping/restaurants/etc. to make it worth your while, since most companies don't reimburse for gas/mileage.

Mystery shopping is probably best suited for someone whose kids are older, in school or preschool and they are looking for something fun and flexible to do while their child is at school.

Hi Pumpkinbutts.

You can get some detailed information about mystery shopping from this website...

There are plenty of mystery shopping scams about.  One way to avoid them is to make sure that any company you consider is a member of the Mystery Shopping Provider's Association.

The list of North American members is here...
