Plan toys?

I've been away for a while and can't remember if this is the best place to post this...

I have a few plan toys and want to get more. Is amazon the best place? Do they ever get cheaper than 25% off? I thinking for Christmas, so I figure if I start sale now maybe I won't over pay...

Also are there any other really good companies other than haba? There are so many wooden toys now I'm not sure who else to trust....

Amazon is never the unqualified best.  It is made up of individuals and stores that make up whatever price they want.  Sometimes the prices are twice as expensive as they should be.  I do love to read reviews on there, however.  I usually go to google and select the "shopping" search.  Then I can get a better idea of what the manufacturer's suggested retail price is and what is actually a good deal.  Sometimes it is on Amazon, sometimes not.

Plan Toys don't get discounted a whole lot. If you can find them gently used on Craigs List they are usually in great condition. We have many and almost all have held up well. Amazon (actual amazon, not the resellers) with prime is usually a decent price. Kangerooboo.com also has a good selection.

In addition to Haba, Grimm Spiel has lovely toys. We get a ton of play value out of their four elements. I've had mixed luck with handmade toys off etsy, but I do like the rocking horse by Little Sapling and the Little Kitchen by Mama Made Them and the Stackhouse by Toideloi (sold on etsy and elsewhere). I've also had good luck with toys from Palumba, Nova Naturals, and A Toy Garden.
