My four month old is starting to teeth. I can already see white buds under his gums. He's been doing a lot more nursing, which I am 100% fine with as I'm sure it helps to soothe his aching mouth. But once he starts getting teeth, he'll be "gumming down" on me.... except with teeth! I am committed to nursing until at least once year, but how do I teach him to not bite my nipples? He already gums down on my nipples and it does not feel good. Any tried and true remedies that have worked for the rest of you?

I've heard of the "when he bites, pull his head into your boob adn force him to pull off" method. Does it work? Is there something else I can do?
