Oh no, sounds like you have a little engineer on your hands lol.gif My 10yo does things like that-- thankfully he doesn't take apart my stuff, but he does build elaborate things out of paper and he does amazing origami. My man (who is an engineer) said the same thing about my boy winky.gif

he is ten now(almost- in 10 days) and wants to be an engineer. he loves figuring out how things work and asking me a million questions about how everything works. he was like 2 or 3 and was playing in the tupperware stuff where i kept the thermos and unscrewed the bottom and then it shattered shortly afterwards. whew....

ROFL-- one of my son's very first words was "speaker"-- he always noticed where the speakers were in any room. He couldn't even talk; he said "boo-ka". When he was 3, we went to a fair and got on the merry-go-round, and instead of just enjoying the ride, he looked up, saw how the mechanics of the horses worked, and said "Look, Mommy, hydraulic rams!"

Mine wants to be an engineer, too. Yeah-- you and I are doomed lol.gif

Wow, you guys pack a lot of food for your kids!  Makes me wonder if I am sending enough.

I send either:

- sandwich and some fruit

- hot thermos of a mix of pasta, veges, some meat and separately some fruit

And they get a Funtainer thermos with water.

Usually they eat everything, but my 8 year old sometimes leaves some fruit.
