Vegan- or allergy-friendly bakery in DC area?

Hi Mamas,

I am hosting a party next month and will need a birthday-style sheet cake or an assortment of cupcakes. I would like for whatever I serve to be safe for people who are dairy and egg free, and because of some schedule complexities in the days leading up to the party, it will be hard for me to make my own. Do any of you know of a bakery in DC, NoVa, or the near MD suburbs that has experience with vegan baking or will accommodate a request for ingredient substitutions?

I'd be very grateful for any advice!

Sticky Fingers Bakery in Columbia Heights is all vegan, so they would probably be your best bet. Here is a list of some other bakery options. Good luck!

I second Sticky Fingers!  they might not be the cheapest, but they are awesome.  they made the delicious delicious cupcakes for our wedding.
