So low progesterone is possibly responsible for a lot of miscarriages, but do you need early testing for every pregnancy?

If you have low levels for one, does that mean you will also need to supplement for additional pregnancies?

Vice versa, if your levels were fine for one, will they all be fine?  If not, why don't dr's want to always do beta's as soon as you find out you're expecting?

The reason I ask is I just went through my 2nd loss, and I'm second guessing myself, could I have done early beta's and caught a problem before the loss occurred?  I didnt go in for testing because I dont think there is any way to prevent miscarriages except by supplementing progesterone, and that only if you are low.  I didn't want to know it wasn't viable until my body told me.  I know my first loss I did get an early checkup, and all my hormone levels looked great then.

thanks in advance,
