So low progesterone is possibly responsible for a lot of miscarriages, but do you need early testing for every pregnancy?
Â
If you have low levels for one, does that mean you will also need to supplement for additional pregnancies?
Â
Vice versa, if your levels were fine for one, will they all be fine? Â If not, why don't dr's want to always do beta's as soon as you find out you're expecting?
Â
The reason I ask is I just went through my 2nd loss, and I'm second guessing myself, could I have done early beta's and caught a problem before the loss occurred? Â I didnt go in for testing because I dont think there is any way to prevent miscarriages except by supplementing progesterone, and that only if you are low. Â I didn't want to know it wasn't viable until my body told me. Â I know my first loss I did get an early checkup, and all my hormone levels looked great then.
Â
thanks in advance,Â
