treatment for eczema

i believe ds has some mild eczema on his arms.  was wondering what others have used that helps.

we bathe him with water only (just use a little california baby tea tree & lavender shampoo on his hair -- and that's only to get rid of the olive oil we're using to get rid of his cradle cap) and i use mild laundry detergent, so i don't think it's something i'm using that's causing it.

Are you nursing? It most likely is food sensitivities. The most common are dairy, egg, wheat, and peanut. If that is his only symptom, you may be able to cut back but if he has other symptoms, elimination has been amazing for me and my little guy. Cradle cap is actually a symptom, too. Here is a good link: http://drjaygordon.com/nutrition/an-allergy-elimination-diet.html

He had eczema and it disappeared after we figured out what he was sensitive to. In the meantime, we used Rocky Mountain Soap Co.'s Baby Butter (loved this stuff!) and Earth Mama Angel Baby.
