are these good slings?

Do these look like good slings? I thought slings (os is it pouches) should rest at your hip.

I am looking for something really simple to carry my 2 year old in. I imagine a sling/pouch that will hold some of her weight while the rest of her is resting on my hip, like when I hold her.

Lots of people recommend a ring sling but I am not so sure I would do well with one.
