so i have a major clingy son. he will be 2 october. and i must say its getting real anoying lol. and was wondering if you had any tips or advice on how i can get him to be a lil bit more independent instead of just wanting to sit on my lap and have to be touching me all day lol.Â

*I* think the only thing you can do is stay really attached to him. Maybe wear him when running errands, taking special time out of every hour to play 1:1 with him. Are you nursing? If so maybe lie down when you nurse him and make it a devoted "him time".

My DD has always been high needs so I find that if I regularly meet those needs she is much more independent and not attacking me all day for attention!
