Signs of progress....

Just wanted to report that sometimes I feel disheartened by this topic and sometimes I feel like my "intactivism" is not getting us anywhere but then.....


I went to a natural hot springs yesterday in the rural part of my state and saw a couple of intact boys just 7-10 years old. By the way, all natural hot springs in my state, Oregon, are considered "clothing optional". So I didn't just glimpse them while changing .. they were out hanging and strutting and cavorting in the water like little men do.

Have you felt any progress lately?

Our family was at Odiorne State Park in NH recently.  A family was returning from the beach with a number of small children. The 4ish year old boy was buck naked, as you said doing what boys do!  Uncircumcised!

I have recently met two new moms, both with intact boys and super awesome moms!  They are very aware of the issue and their kids are not toddlers, they range from 6-10 years old, so they knew that long ago to keep them safe!

At least there is some hope that things are changing for the better.  I am so glad to hear that!  Until we change the ridiculous attitudes of our society, this barbaric practice  will continue, though.  Thanks for sharing some positivity!
