I have SPD (Sensory Processing Disorder) and I have an extremely hard time nursing. I have a hard time with light touch. When I nurse the sensation is so strong that I have to rub my toes together (sometimes until the point of bleeding) so I can do it. My legs tingle horribly. It is almost unbearable but I am not willing to stop the nursing relationship or the nutrition benefits. I find if my breasts are more full of milk it isn't as bad.
Does anyone have any experience with this? It is so hard to deal with and it would be nice if someone could relate with me or give me some ideas if something worked for them.
Thank you.
