Plus I can hear that DS hasn't gone to sleep yet, instead he is chatting in his crib. He's going to be such a grump if he doesn't get a nap this afternoon.
Oooh, hope you had a good visit Lyn! You'll have to tell us how everything went once you put the little guy to bed. Or if you are blessed with time to sit

One did tell me to drink more water and to lie down if I get those kind of contractions again. *sigh* I know she's right, it's still early, but I want to be done!
That's wonderful that he's in a good position! And I want you to be done too (I feel bad for ALL of us at this point... miserable condition this pregnancy nonsense)! But I agree with your midwives that going into labor well hyrdrated is a good deal. Fingers crossed that you'll drink water, lie down, and they'll keep coming anyway.

What? I can dream.
Here Carrie, let me just whip out my magical birthing unicorn for all of us... Oh, that would be so lovely! Sigh.

Aw, sorry about the GBS mama, but hopefully these contractions finally GO somewhere for you. I would be so delighted to see more itty baby pictures. Fingers crossed that you'll go next!!

Charlie always headbutts her when she's checking, it's very funny.
Awww, baby Charlie is protecting his mama! Or maybe just marking his territory... Hmmm.

And what am I doing about it? Nothing. I'm sitting here reading posts and wasting time on Facebook LOL!
The good news is that my husband finishes summer school today, so he'll be home all day everyday until August 22nd. Maybe he will do everything for me?
Yay for having husbands home! Your preparation status sounds a whole lot like mine at this point. Sigh.

Remember to watch your sugar intake! Probiotics are great, but don't give that yeast anything to feed off of! I think a few mamas here have had great results with garlic keeping the yeasties at bay as well, maybe insert just every other day as a preventative, especially if you're prone to yeast.
AFM -- My pevlis is just destroyed today. I have no idea what I did, but I'm not walking well. My midwife had confirmed yesterday that bebe dropped, so maybe it's just the extra stress on my pelvis now, but my hips are taking turns seizing up. They're jutting out, and when I move anywhere my SP just crunch, crunch, crunches away. I scheduled an emergency chiropractic session tomorrow afternoon that we really can't afford at this point, but I just don't know what else to do. By noon I was having trouble getting off the bed without crying, and I had to call DH home from work for a few hours to watch DS so that I could take a bath, as that's the only thing that seems to provide me some relief. At least he's salary. Sigh. They're feeling a bit better after the long bath, and spending several hours in bed with DS while he napped. But forget about chores... Funny how just 10 short months can take you from fit and strong, to a puddle of worthless jelly. Bah.
I am so ready to have my body back -- to get up out of bed, to play with my kid, to not be in pain every step of every day. It's exhausting.
