this is the first time trend micro has blocked mothering, is this because of ads like other sites?

It's really hard to say. We can investigate further if you provide more information. Complete this form http://www.mothering.com/community/feedback detailing the page you try to access when you get the message, what the message says, and what ads are displaying on that page.

hmm I tried to click a link to an updated post from my email and my antivirus software completely blocked the site so I went to mothering.com and there was no problem ;  that was my first and only issue.

Trend Micro has confirmed that this website can transmit malicious software or has been involved in online scams or fraud.

I can take  screenshot if that would help

The warning is for the delivery tracking link URL, not Mothering.com. You can see the link you posted begins with x.jmxded181.net which is what Trend Micro is flagging. This problem arose earlier in the month and our tech team spoke with Trend Micro about it, confirmed that it was a false positive warning and Trend Micro said they would fix it in their next release. Is your Trend Micro the most up to date version?

Tech support says TrendMicro resolved the false positive warning so you should not be getting them now. Would you please check and let me know? Thanks!
