Why is this thread locked?

I'm just curious why that thread was closed? Is Consensual Living still a banned topic here? (I have heard that it once was, so maybe it still is.)

And if it is, I'm wondering why CL is a banned topic in particular. Was it causing too many arguments or division or something? Because what little I know of it, it seems to be a lot like Unconditional Parenting or Taking Children Seriously, which aren't banned topics as far as I know.

On the old platform we installed a feature that closed threads older than X days (I've forgotten how old the threads had to be before they were auto-closed). That carried over when we moved to the new platform. So this thread is closed as a result of that. It has nothing to do with the topic.  

We don't have a problem hosting CS discussions or any other parenting philosophies that jive in some way with Mothering philosophies. But if followers of a parenting philosophy start to take over discussions to assert their way as the only appropriate Gentle Discipline philosophy to practice then we would restrict that, as we have done with TCS in the past.
