can anyone recommend an epi-pen "carrier"?

I want something that can carry an epi-pen jr twin pack and a dose of benadryl and possible an inhaler.

any recommendations?

Boy or girl?  It needs to be something that won't get left in the car and overheat.  A girl could get away with a small purse slung across.  REI or another camping store might have a small little pack acceptable for either sex.  How old is your child?  Does this need to be surrendered to the school nurse?  All good questions that will help pick out the right thing....

we're new to the allergy realm...we have the mackenzie preschool packpack from pottery barn kids that works perfect for our epi-pen (jr twin), a couple benadryl singles and benadryl cream.  it's perfect for a few diapers or a change of clothes for the young ones.

This is exactly why I was looking at getting one.  I think I may just carry it in a small backpack myself.  I was thinking for when we go out to parks and stuff.  But really, sometimes it gets too hot even when not in the car (while being carried in my purse or whatever), i.e. when the weather is in the 90's

It is for my dd who is 3, but chances are I will be the one carrying it.

I have a small make-up bag (probably some freebie that came with a purchase or something) that I can fit ds's epi-pen, inhaler and spacer in. I just throw the make-up bag in my purse when we go out. He has a kit at school too, but that's all in a clear zip-loc bag with his picture attached for easy identification. I don't know what we'll do when he has to start carrying it himself.

I bought one from here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/PillowSewCute?ref=seller_info

Love it. I have it hanging by the front door, so that DP can just hook it on a beltloop on the way out when he's taking DD somewhere. I also have one of the ouch pouches in my purse with homeopathic remedies and bandaids and stuff. I love that the pouch is see-though as well, so that it's obvious what is in there in case someone needs to use it in an emergency.

Those are cute! We have a mini-back pack I got at Walmart but it's too much and I need something now my son could carry. I wonder if he would like the designs. They don't have a lot of older boy type ones.

Someone told me that they emailed her and asked if she could do a specific fabric (I think it was a sports team), and she said it was no problem! I don't remember if they sent her the fabric they wanted, or if she found it for them.
