Kombucha

Is it okay to drink Kombucha while breastfeeding?  My daughter is 9 months old and we are still primarily nursing...she really isn't eating much solid food, yet.  I didn't drink Kombucha during her pregnancy.  Will the alcohol content in the Kombucha reach my daughter through my breastmilk?  Thanks so much!!!

I'm not sure, but I drank some a few weeks ago.  Now I feel guilty.   I don't know why I didn't even connect the fermentation aspect of it with alcohol- so dumb!  The wikipedia page says it's technically classified as a non-alcoholic beverage because it contains less than 0.5% alcohol.

Since it's perfectly safe to drink moderately while breastfeeding, I'm sure the small amount of alcohol in it is not a problem.
