Staying in college while pregnant

Hi- I just found I'm pregnant a couple weeks ago.. I'm almost 7 weeks and I'll be due March 16, 2012. Next semester I plan on taking 4 classes, two of which are going to be pretty tough.. is this a good idea? I'm studying to get my BSN in nursing and have to take anatomy II, microbiology, psychology II, and nutrition.. let me know your thoughts! Thanks! :)

I think that is doable. I found nutrition easy, especially compared to micro or Anatomy II. I took classes when pg and it was never a problem unless you have HG. I would very highly recommend talking to the professors ahead of time to see which accommodations they make for pregnant students in labs. Some chemicals you will be in contact with in Micro and Anatomy are not ok during pregnancy. My dh teaches chemistry and will make accommodations. You need to make sure you pick a nice professor who will help you out there, though I'm pretty sure they are legally obliged to do so (some make a big fuss, though).

I did 19 credits a semester with 16 month old and pregnant with my second one. Not to brag, but I graduated with honors.
