Blogs with activity ideas for older kids? (xposted in Homeschooling)

I read a lot of blogs with a lot of great ideas for things to do with kids, but most seem to be about kids in the 2-6 year range. My ds is 7 and is in a rut at the moment - a lot of stuff he used to find interesting he doesn't now, and I think it might be partly an age/developmental thing, like he needs to find 'older' stuff to do now. I dunno. But I'm looking for blogs with ideas for activities for older kids, 7 and up. Any ideas? I think I need some inspiration for both of us!

Instructables.com has a ton of fun stuff.  It isn't for kids specifically but an older kid or an adult could get inspiration there.  I know someone on the Learning at Home forum posted a good one with science projects a while back.  You could cross post there but I'll try to hunt it up tomorrow...
