My son is "dribbling" in his underpants

DS (28 months) has been using the potty for probably 6 months now.  We did late EC starting at about 13 months, and so it has been a process, but for the past 6 months he's been pretty reliable (at least with me).  Over the past week or so, he's started dribbling little bits of pee, and I don't what it's all about.  He'll ask to try the potty, and when I get him there and pull down his pants, his underpants have a small wet spot.  Not even enough to go through to his pants.  Then, he may or may not pee after that.  Sometimes this happens 5 minutes after I've had him on the potty, as I frequently give him opportunities to try.

Anyone been through this?  Is there anything I can do to help him catch that pee feeling a bit sooner?

Such a small amount I wouldn't stress about myself.

Ds is intact & I find often he ends up with a little bit of pee in his undies, usually right after peeing 'cause little drips get stuck inside his foreskin - I don't know that there is really any solution to it.

My son does this all the time.  He is not quite 3.5.  This has been going on (and off) since he started potty training.  For him, I think it's because he is too excited playing and he doesn't want to leave to use the potty.  So he just pees a little bit in his undies, thinking he won't have to go to the potty then or something.  The part that annoys me the most is that he wants to change his underwear every time, he goes through a lot of underwear!
