Boy Names

Thread Starter

The last boy names thread I found upon searching was from dec 201, so I thought I would start a new one. I am really not sure to go with boy names. I have my girls name picked out, I have regretted not using it after each of my 3 daughters were born and I won't pass it up again (Cady, after Elizabeth Cady Stanton), but am unsure of a boy name. I am leaning towards Whitaker, I have liked it since I was 9, and I have to pass Whitaker Rd to get to my midwives which I took to be a sign with my last pregnancy, it wasn't I had a girl) So basically I want to be unindated with boy names. I LOVE unusaul boy names but they can't be too far out as DH is rather conservative when it comes to names. I like old fashioned names as well. William will be one of the two middle names.

The girls I have now are Jewel, Josie, and Juniper. I will not be using another J name which knocks Jasper off the list.

some names that I like  include

Walter

Django

MIles

Simon

Benjamin

Henry

Everett

Cree

Clive

Cash

Oliver

Alasdair

I also like from your list:

Everett

Edgar

Simon

Walter

Other names that fit uncommon/old fashioned, but not too out there:

I love Levi...but I might be bias b/c that's what we're naming ours if its a boy!  Levi Charles or Levi Wilson, both after his daddy, just not sure which one we like best yet.

But I also like Everett, Cash, Teague and Reid.  Very cute!

We are having the same problem - one of us can usually come up with a name we both instantly know is the one, but this time it isn't happening!  However - here are a few that we have come up with:

Daxton

Maxwell (I think this is cute - I am just trying to get over the fact that I had a dog named Max)

Kairo (Like Cairo - just with a K since our dds both start with a K)

Carson/Karson

HUbs keeps suggesting Maxwell, that's my maiden name. BUT I don't like the nickname Max.

See - I am not crazy about maxwell - but I think a little boy named max would but super cute!  What about Charlie?  My cousin named her baby Charlie - I think that's cute too.  A friend just named her LO Sebastian - I am not crazy about it but a lot of people think it's nice.

That's crazy (re: Sebastian)! My little boy Sebastian is the only one I've ever met!

Max: I think it's cute! And I could see it both on a little boy and a grown man.

Have you checked out this website?  http://www.momswhothink.com/baby-boy-names/baby-boy-names-a-to-z-listing.html

There are some different names there...just an idea

It is hard when you know someone with a certain name - they can ruin it for you!
