In my experience no, it doesn't go out of fashion. You have to be consistent and set rules. Standing on the table is not allowed in my house because of the possible danger. Toddlers have to be reminded/told over and over again before the rule "sets" in their little growing brains. If you hope your daughter tires of it, perhaps she will but odds are not before she gets hurt or breaks something.
Regarding the couch - if you don't want her on it, redirect her. I don't want my kids jumping on the furniture for a number of reasons so I redirect or let them know what they CAN do, i.e. they can take off the back pillows and play with them but that's it. And yes, it takes many, many reminders.
