Miscarriage- Blighted ovum

Thread Starter

I'm out for March.  Sigh.  I passed a gestational sac.  It was still full of fluid, beautifully created, and empty of a baby.  It was about 2 inches.  I'm guessing it was a blighted ovum.  I've passed lots of tissue, though still crampy and sore.  I feel low.  Amazing how I could still feel pregnancy symptoms and "grow" as if all was well all 9 weeks.  Placenta at work, I suppose. (Though I really didn't feel as spiritual as I usually do when pregnant. )  Perhaps I need to think about a progesterone check or antibody check (I'm RH-).  I am strongly against rhogam shots as I had a horrible reaction to one 11 years ago after the birth of my first + baby. (something homeopathic?)  No other problems with conception.  Just keep miscarrying.  Sigh again. gloomy.gif  Loving vibes to all and good luck.

Homebirthy

Your story sounds like mine.... I am on my 10th pregnancy have 3 kids but also RH- and low thyroid. Plus an autoimmune issue. But I don't carry that label just am aware of it. In the past I have had ectopic, blighted ovum (took forever to pass ), and 7 early m/c. Of course this is over the span of 12 yrs. My kids are 11, 8 & 4.

I choose to avoid rhogam with my last two births but had the shots after a couple m/c and my first birth. Don't agree with them as long as the birth was nice and smooth. I really are against them with m/c especially early ones and when the body expels them correctly.

Sorry for your lose and next I would check your T-4, T-3, TSH, iodine and adrenals, this is what I have been working on this year after two loses back to back. I sure have no problem getting pregnant it's keeping them. It is amazing how thyroid, adrenals, liver all function together and checking just one isn't always the solution. I was happy to find a lab that I could go to and some test are allowed w/o a docs note. Although thyroid testing requires one.

Good luck to you and sending baby wishes your way ....

Big big hugs.  I take Symplex F twice a day... if you have a homeopath, maybe talk to them about it?  It's supposed to assist the whole female arena.

I'm so sorry... :(  You will be missed.
