So , so sorry for you and your daughters! I'm all about NOT raising my kids in front of the television, and they play outside a lot, run back and forth to our neighbors houses on both sides. I think this is childhood at it's best, and on the other hand I don't want to tell them to fear their neighbor or tell them to cover their bodies (and cause shame). So I struggle between what to trust in the world and how much to talk to my kids. Since my doctor first told my kids that I can check your privates only because your mom is here, I have reminded them of it. I guess it has stuck because one time they didn't want their grandmother to bathe them before making sure it was ok with me. And hopefully some sense of that remains, because I don't want to yell every day they go visit a friend, "don't let anyone touch your privates, I don't want my kids live in that kind of sexual fear..." Although reading your post, and knowing this hapens all the time everywhere, makes me think, that of course LIVING it is far worse than knowing about it...

gosh, terrible, and I am so sorry! I hope the guy goes to prison. Even if no one can prove anything happened, who the hell has the right to take someones kid over the fence and "show something" without parents permission!!!!
