I have a little coffee grinder at home, so I buy a dark, decaf bean and then a less-strong real bean (like a flavored roast) from the self-serve dispensers at the store. Then I mix them together before I grind them. I still need a little caffeine, but I find the ritual is almost as important. I especially feel the need on the way to work in the morning. I have to have that cup with me in the car. I try to eat well during the day, lots of fruits and veggies and nothing too heavy or starchy, so I don't have a carb coma! I used to eat heavy stuff all the time and try to counteract it with an espresso late in the day. Those days are over now! I also try to go to bed earlier. I know this is all common sense stuff, but I'm right there with you wishing I could just chug coffee to my heart's content.

Have you been trying to wean yourself off for a while or just starting? I started adding decaf before we were TTC just so I could ease into it gradually, and also so that if I got migraines from it I could actually take something. But it has helped to go into it slowly over a period of time.
