night sweats anyone?? cold.gif

yes, me. i'm drenched everynight and makes baby feel really hot to me too. I am also grinding or clenching my teeth really bad for some reason. My mouth and jaw are completely sore in the mornin...

Anyone else have some stitches. I had 2 near the scar from my first baby. I can't remember how long they take to heal. They are itchy right now, does that mean skin is starting to heal. I am 12 days out.

This for sure! I love being a mama to this sweet little boy but it's definitely a huge adjustment being someone's everything. I feel like I want to get things done around the house, or just jump in the shower or use the bathroom but when Theo wants to be held or nursed - that's what we do. It's been hard for me to just let things go - I'm usually really on top of keeping our place clean and tidy, or preparing meals, etc.

It makes me realize how much my life has changed, ya know, like it's no longer all about me. Revelation. As for other PP, I'm 13 days out and still have a tiny bit of light bleeding left. I feel pretty good - the sitz bath, lavender essential oil in the peri bottle and homeopathic bottom salve has worked wonders!

Today we made our maiden voyage out to return something - just me and Theo. It went really well and that made me feel a lot more confident.

I'm still spotting and it's been 5 weeks 1 day.  DH and I have also started DTD too.  Just a few times and we have to make sure to use lubrication because it's like the Sahara down there when I'm nursing.

me too, drenched at night. i forgot that was a common thing actually until i just read your post. and the teeth clenching! weird me too, last night i finally popped some tylenol because my head hurt from teeth clenching - which i don't typically do.

my stitches were itchy, too.

DH is counting the days until it's time to resume normal activities. I'm only 3 weeks PP today so I figure I should wait a little longer, but I feel pretty normal so I guess I'm just waiting for the insides to be back to normal-ish. When is it safe again vs the 6 weeks everyone says?

on days i don't take my placenta pills i bleed so i am going to continue to take them- i have a bunch left that would even last me 3  more weeks.

Today I tried to put a ring on my finger that I took off since 2nd trimester. I've worn this ring for 5 years. Now it doesn't fit!! Does this happen??? Have my fingers irreversibly gotten bigger?

Mines still tight. They'll shrink... although I have heard of some things changing forever, like your shoe size. But mine went back to normal after DS1 it just took some time. just like my, uh, pants wink1.gif

I dont know if it was the much smaller head or no tears but I feel awesome so far. Not that I want to resume our normal DTD yet but it's crossed my mind, weird I know!

I never waited the recommended 6 weeks but always started once the bleeding was gone around 3-4 weeks pp. I never had any cuts or tears and was always anxious to find out if it still "works".

I had that happen this time too! I've managed to get my wedding ring back on but still can't get the engagement ring on, or I could get it on but never off again. This didn't happen with either of the other two. My feet grew 1/2 size with DS1, but since then haven't, thankfully.

I am currently in that really annoying phase where maternity clothes are too big but my regular pants/shorts are too small. I am ready to get back in shape!!! Not sure I should start running again yet since I'm only a month out.

Thankfully my maternity clothes still fit (and I'm going to happily wear them FOREVER!!  lol) even though I only have 8 or so pounds left to go.  But I can't wait to exercise!  My stomach is a blob.  A flat blob, but a blob nonetheless.  Only a week left to go but I'm still slightly bleeding so I might wait a little longer.

Ditto. I want to get out and run too but I'm intimidated by huge-milk-full-boob running. I guess whip out my best, most intense running bra and stuff it with nursing pads?

I, too, am 1 month PP - what's the golden rule on resuming something like running?

I never did get back to running after DS1 because of the huge milk full boob flopping around thing. I was smaller before and now am huge so Im not used to the double super bras thing. maybe biking will be my new thing...

I'm almost three weeks PP and I'm ready to get back in shape. I lost a fair amount already - I fit into my pre-preg jeans but everything is flabby and mushy. I think I'm going to start running again but I want to wait until I'm finished bleeding. My bleeding picks back up on days I do too much.

I don't fit in my wedding rings yet either - hopefully soon!

Wierd - my wedding rings are actually too big now! I do think I've lost weight since prepregnancy though (don't be jealous of that, I've still got about 80 lbs more to lose to be anywhere near healthy!)
I think you're supposed to wait the 6 weeks?? My bleeding has stopped and seems stopped for good this time, but I don't want to push thing despite how impatient I am. I have started walking more, now that the temps are out of the 100's, lol. I have 5 lbs left to lose to pre-preg weight, then would like to lose 3-4 more that I gained when I nightweaned in order to get pregnant. But-ugh!! yes, my stomach, or jelly-belly as I like to call it. That's what I am really going to have to focus on.

Since I'm not the states and a newbie... I take a lot of recommendations to heart for things like nursing bras and stuff.. So Ms. Stellabluz mentioned a Yummie Tummie nursing tank, which I then looked up, and found one on eBay for $40 and my pop is going to send it down to me... so basically I'm gonna "fake it" as much as I can in terms of getting rid of belly-fluff :)

I never paid much attention before, but now I'm super aware of comments about women "losing the baby weight" so soon after childbirth. How annoying! Give us a break!! :)

They are awesome Colleen, but make sure you put it on legs first and shimmy it on up to avoid major boob crushage.
