I have been reading this post for days and eating vicariously through your delicious choices!
I have been so hungry and I just spent the past 6 days at in-laws house where the food ranges from bland to spoiled. And, I've been starving! And, since they don't know I'm preg it was hard to find good excuses to justify my "pickiness".
A few examples... on Friday SIL made a potato "salad" that consisted of potatos, brocolli and raw onion. No salt, dressing, etc... It was totally inedible to me as I detest raw onion. I ate some bread and sobbed to DH late that night. On Sun morning, there were blueberry pancakes... YUM!... but when I opened the syrup a lump of mold fell out onto my plate. I find eating at their house to be challenging to begin with. This week was agony.
So, I've been reading your posts and salivating over your choices. The ONLY good tasting things that I've eaten in the past week have been blueberries (fresh picked but I almost fainted in the heat) and 2 root beer floats from an ice cream place in town. (One of which DH had to sneak out to go buy making me feel 13 instead of 35!).
But, what shall I make for dinner? Indian food-- likely homemade Saag Paneer. And, DD and I are going to make chocolate zuccinni cupcakes. And, I might spend the whole day eating...
