Mickey Button

Good Day everyone,

I was curious, my son just got his mickey button removed 3 days ago and I was wondering if anyone knows the closure time for the hole. We see the surgeon on Monday, but wanted to see how long the process of closure takes.

Congrats!!!! My daughter had a button for 5 years and her stoma closed up very quickly and did not leak at all. Each kid is different. I know that some kids require a little stitch to close it but most don't. How it is healing now? After over a year now since the removal, my dd's looks very deep like a belly button and she jokes that she has two belly buttons and people really have to think about that. LOL! I know that plastic surgery is an option for later but so far she's fine with herself the way she is.
