Safety Tips and Fun Activities help!

My name is Makayla and I am working on my senior project for school.

My goal in life is to be an OT or a special education teacher.  For my senior project I am going to have a carnival at my high school for the local elementary special education classrooms.  I am trying to think of good activities and carnival like games that would be appropriate and safe.  There is going to be many teachers and aides for supervision and I know the possibilities are endless.  So I was hoping some of you parents could give any ideas that would help. Thank you!

P.S.  All the classrooms have moderate to severe disabilities.

My DD, like a lot of sn kids, has sensory issues. She did better in quieter activities -- something small with a few kids in one room, rather than a ton of stuff happening in a gym.

Some of her favorite activities when she was young were face painting and cake walks. She also liked the little fishing games when you get silly prizes.

Yeah definitely! It is all going to be outdoors and in a large area. I have planned on breaking them into small groups where they can each be in stations and wont be too overwhelmed by all the people I hope! Luckily we have so many great staff members and helpers that we can have enough supervision to make it possible.
