Hi! I currently live in CA, but would like to move to southern OR, maybe Eugene or area around Eugene, in about a year. I would like to live outside the city of Eugene, but within a 15 minute drive. Are there any smaller towns I should be looking at in the immediate vicinity? We would ideally like to purchase 5-10 acres in the country, but don't know where the good areas are. Would like a good community feel, with low crime and family-oriented environment. I love the weather and terrain of that part of Oregon, and we love outdoor activities too. We want to be "out" a bit, but close enough to the resources and jobs of a town/city. Air quality and clean environment are super important to me. Thanks for any advice!
