My hospital gives the rate for rupturing at 1 in 200. Â And if continuously monitored they can 'save' 4 out of 5 of those putting the death rate at 1 in 1000 for every VBAC. Â
Â
Does anyone know at what stage rupturing happens? Â 0-3 cms? 4-6? 7-10? Â
Â
What raises the change of rupturing? Â I know some (maybe all) methods of induction increase the chance.
Â
I am mainly asking because I would love to stay home until active labour but wonder if I should go in earlier just to be safe.Â
