Sapphire Ember!

My darling girl was finally born this morning at 41 weeks 5 days! Her name is Sapphire Ember! Born in water in the caul at home, at 5 am. 7 pounds 10 ounces (7.14 before the giant meconium incident--lol!) and she is absolutely beautiful!

I'm exhausted from laboring and birthing all night but otherwise doing great. No
tearing! Baby is a natural at nursing--I'm really impressed. My DH is in
love of course and our 22-month-old DS is going to be a great big brother. Woo hoo!!

Congrats- she is gorgeous! Ha ha- yeah- Julian weighed half a pound more before his giant mec incident but so glad he waited until after he was born to do that!
