Cloth diapers & MOLD

I put my dirty diapers in a garbage pail with a wet bag in it.  I CD only part time so I wash the diapers about once a week.  The diapers on the bottom keep getting moldy - like a purple colored mold.  Most of them come clean after I wash them, but some have remained moldy.  They do not smell when I use them, or after baby uses them.

Is there a way to stop the mold from growing?  How do I get the mold out of my diapers - or are they ruined?

first, i would bleach the pail to remove whatever mold is already there. then i would run your diapers through a wash with a little bit of bleach to sanitize them. then i would start washing them twice a week to prevent regrowth.
