Anyway. I'm up far too early because my belly weighs so MUCH. Remember being able to roll over? Now, sure, it hurts but it's also HARD. I help and push the belly with my arm, but that's even hard these days. And then I'm on my back and flailing and can't breathe. And then HEAVE! to the other side. Sheesh :P
lol, i call this the roll and flop. it is how i get out of couch lying....our bed is super low to the ground, but it has a loft that i am lucky enough to be able to reach from a lying donw position. it makes me feel somewhat less feeble when i am trying to sit up. :P i hear you on the weight of belly. my word. it simply aches to lug around.
i am so ready to meet babe. august is full of odd anniversaries and other (significant) people's birthdays. i wonder if babe will opt for one of those days that already have meaning to me? interesting to think about. but i really just want to meet baby. i am so much less patient this time around! i am usually the calm one saying "baby will come when they are ready...." (even at 41 weeks).
Becky, i hope you will get a chance to have an inversion for Charlie! i have also heard other breech mamas talking about Pulsatilla, a homeopath. you hear of that one? i know at least one mom who swore it was what turned her babe. i keep thinking of you guys, and hoping that there isn't some reason he is trying to get your attention by turning this late in the game.
i know i just complained about how ready i am to have little babe.....yesterday it was comical, woke up yet again with contractions, (and even what i felt like was a tiny whoosh of my waters!), and when nothing was going on or increasing, i ended up taking the girls out to do some errands and go out to play at this beautiful park where they got to swim in the creek. i also decided it was the prime time to vaccum out the car.....if baby won't cooperate and come on out, i'm done trying to work around the belly. there was much contorting, but i was able to get our car all cleaned out and it feels much nicer. i just keep cleaning until baby shows up.....starting to make up projects that are sort of ridiculous. save me from nesting, baby. we're ready.
weather wise, it is a lovely shade of grey today, and seems pretty cool so far. maybe i will take my girls to the outdoor hot pool.
