Thanks for taking over the thread, OJazzy!

Not Monday Check-In
Name:
Fnord
Date: Aug 3
Chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2fa1ea
Where are you in your cycle? according to my chart I'm 5DPO! Which is incredibly exciting to be able to say when I'm on CD80!
Appointments: I had an appt with my family physician on Monday and she put me on the smallest possible dose of Synthroid ( i think it was .25 mg). Today is my second day on it and I think I may feel a little less exhausted than usual, but I'm not sure if I'm just imagining that. I have an appt with an endocrinologist on the 30th. My t4 and Tsh levels are normal, but my thyroid peroxidase antibodies are very high, and with my combination of symptoms and my family history, my family phys. said she suspects Hashimoto's. She also wants me to get tested for PCOS when I go in again to get my thyroid levels tested again.
Symptoms if they apply: My ovaries have been aching like crazy, but I don't know if that's just from getting a pap.
Testing: I was doing OPKs and HPTs at least once a week for the past month or so, just in case I missed O on my chart, but now that I have crosshairs, I'm quite pleased to be in the 2ww and probably won't test again until the 12th, when I'll be in Portland on my first ever real vacation!

Fnord: I had hashimoto's and something they don't tell you is this - Hashimoto's leads to thyroid cancer. So, it's really important that you are aware of any changing symptoms and keep a close eye on the size of your thyroid. Have them do yearly u/s on it to see if they see any spots too. I got really lucky and made them remove mine after I noticed it was getting bigger. It was completely cancerous and would have spread to my lymphnodes and brain very soon. Good luck at the endocrinologists!

Hi all,  thanks for the new tread.

Hi there, my AF was just a 'scare'.  I feel so dissapointed, I rea;;y thought that I could start over, but only a little bleeding and it dissapeared, back to squate one.

Thanks Sila! I wasn't sure if my eyes were playing tricks on me this morning. The second faint line appeared right away, but never got any darker. I showed the hubby and he's not sure, so we'll see what comes up on the digital tomorrow. I'm 14 DPO right now, so I should be able to get a result (though I'm still about 3 days away from the latest point that AF has shown up in the past).

Mae: I see it too! Sending you sticky vibes! I can't wait to see the digital tomorrow!

Rachela:Welcome!

AFM: My honey and I bd the last 2 nights. I had lots of ewcm on Mon now to tacky so I think I ovulated but I don't know b/c I'm not temping this month. I think I'm in the 2ww. I'm hoping to stay relaxed and not get too hopeful.

Welcome to the thread rachel! Hope your stay here with us is short.

Maevankayt - sure looks like a line to me! Hopefully you get your positive with a digi.

Sila - Hanging in there. Been cramping a whole bunch. Been taking some False Unicorn. Trying not to obsess, haha.

Congrats on being 5 DPO Fnord, that would be exciting after such a long cycle!

rachelea: so i can add you to our list can you let me know how old you are?

Welcome rachelea!

Maevankayt - We're all rooting for you!

Marykgrove - I hope your body is getting back on track for you.

Fnord - It sounds like you are really starting to get somewhere in figuring out what is going on. Hashimoto's was on the list of possibilities for me, thankfully I don't have it but I did do a little research on it. Like Bela says, makes sure to get everything checked! Sounds like your Dr. is being very proactive though. If you do have it it would be good to find out before you are pregnant. I have read that during pregnancy with Hashimoto's you often have to be supplemented with hormones since the thyroid affects their production...?

Bela - How are you feeling? More symptoms? I hope the fire boobs are tolerable...

OJazzy - Hoping the cramping is a little clump of dividing cells beginning to burrow in...

Corgi - Not a fun feeling. Hugs to you.

AFM- Still in no man's land...BDing every other day or so just for kicks and giggles...

Mae: I see a line! Hoping you get clear results with the digi tomorrow!

Sila: Fire boobs are still in full action and are driving me insane. The only thing that helps seems to be a sports bra for some reason. As to other symptoms, I went out to lunch today with some friends and as soon as the food came to the table I started feeling nauseous. It got so bad I had to leave the restaurant. Got some blood work done today and will get the results tomorrow. The doc said if my numbers are high enough they don't make you come back in and just have you go to your ob/gyn.

Welcome.gif to all the newbies! I hope your stay here is short.

dust.gif to all you ladies about to O or in the 2WW.

Question: hubby and i have been bd since my last period ended on the 26th of july this weeknd I started getting this weird fluttering feeling at the very top middle of my stomach? Related? Anyone have anything like this before?

Sila- Aww thanks baby cakes! Im ok, the hug made it better ;) . Im off to chart stalk you in a min...

Mae- OMG I SEE IT! :))))))))))) Cant wait to see what the morning brings...

Welcome to our newbies! :))))

Rachelea- I have never experienced that, so I am not sure, maybe one of the other ladies here has some insight?

Gemmine, DandJ, and Belac... Hi!!!! :)

Ojazzy- Hi mama, thread looks great, thanks! :)

Mary- sometimes being not so in the know is kind of nice. Your attitude is so positive and great. :) Your an inspiration.

Corgi- UGH the dreaded AF trickery. Its like when you dont want her she shows, when you want her she hides. ((HUGS))

AFM- So AF showed this am. I knew when my temp was down this morning. But I got up and had some back spasms and then the cramping started and I knew.... UGH. Im ok, because it is only our second cycle, Im also ok because a part of me is kind of indifferent sometimes. Like I want a 3rd, but  I am also happy and feeling blessed with the family the way it is. I am also enjoying my kids STTN and being able to lavish more attention on my amazing HUBBY. :) So I am just trying to focus on the positives. What IS irking me, is this 8 day LP business, like really? WTH is that????? But I assume it is most likely my body trying to normalize after the hormonal BC. I always did have 9 day LP's prior to having my girls. So who knows. Maybe the good in a 9-10 day luteal phase is you never truly have a 2ww? Its like a 1.25 WW. HAHAHAHA Do you see the positive side of me trying to come out through this MISERABLE AF? LOL At any rate, if I wasnt in so much pain I might even be happier about trying another cycle. Good thing is, I O so late I can put away my OPK's and therm for at least the next 15 or so days.
