Visit with the former foster family this week

Monday was a little over a month that our dd (2) has been with us, and her former foster family came to visit. I was a little worried about the aftermath, but dd seemed to be pretty stable and we talk about them a lot, she has a pic of them in her room, etc.

It ended up going really well! The best part is that dd has been a lot more at peace since the visit, tantrums have gone down, she relaxes sooner at bedtime too. She really needed to know they didn't disappear for good.

She still keeps me in sight 95% of the time, but we are doing a lot better as a whole. We are working a lot on verbal communication to help her stop shrieking. :) We love her so much. :)

It's so hard on the ears! lol

Well, yesterday was not so good, a lot of screeching and not coping well, and last night she woke up every 10 minutes for a few hours checking to see if I was still there. (I was dozing on her floor, not good for my back though!)
