I highly recommend going to a fertility clinic/specialist.  I'm 42, ttc #2, and my OB Gyn referred me to a specialist after 1mc and ttc for 6 months afterward.  I'm still ttc, but I feel much more supported and optimistic now that I have a fabulous specialist in my corner.  Best wishes to you!

I'm in the same situation as MammaBird pretty much-- I'll be 42 in 4 months, and we are trying for #2.  We conceived our DS from Clomid and IUI with our fertility doc's help, so we didn't even have to wait for 6 months to elapse.  We saw her back in January before I even had a PPAF, and then it so happened that I got my first one a couple weeks later.  So I've had a total of 7 PPAF, and no bfp in sight, so... here we go again.

How old are your children?  MammaBird, same question for you, too... The reason I'm asking is, our DS is only a year, but we have so little time to get going on this, according to our doc... and he loves to nurse.  I'd have to wean.  So sad about that.

Hi, TenzinsMama - My dd is 7 years old, so we're done with nursing.  I see you had a home birth...I'm hoping for that this time.  Well, I'm hoping for another baby, and if that happens, I'm hoping for a HB.  Good luck to you!

MammaBird, Good luck to you, too, in getting a bfp and then a homebirth.  It was the most beautiful thing I have ever experienced!

We are trying for our 2nd too and am an older mom too. I just got more and more older waiting as dh didn't want a 2nd at our age. At present we have both agreed on it and the ttc is on. Has anyone tried doing a cleanse? I have a friend that couldn't conceive for 4 yrs and then following the Fit for Life diet she said it happened naturally.
