non vax question about daycare

Thread Starter

I've never had to put my kids in daycare before, but this fall, my youngest will be in daycare for a while while I'm in school.  Before I start searching, can daycare centers not allow my child to attend because of not vaccinating?  I live in Michigan.  I am looking at both home and center environments.

Thanks!

Sarah

Any licensed daycare in MI has to accept a religious or philisophical exemption per MI law whether it is a home daycare or a facility. As long as they are licensed they have to. Unlicensed daycares do not have to.
